Panasonic Lumix FX700 Slim and Stylish Digital Camera
Panasonic has announced Panasonic LUMIX FX700 digital camera with 24mm ultra wide-angle lens and 5x optical zoom. It has advanced functions in a slim, stylish body rather than Lumix FS7.
Panasonic Lumix FX700 packs with high-speed 14.1-megapixel MOS sensor, full HD video capture, and 3-inch touchscreen LCD 230,000-pixel resolution with Auto Focus. Here some general features of Panasonic LUMIX DMC-FX700:

Apple 27-inch LED Cinema Monitor
Apple release a new big display for Mac Pro desktop or iMac all-in-one PC. It’s Apple 27-inch LED Cinema monitor with 60% more screen real than previous 24-inch LED Cinema display.
This Apple 27-inch LED Display come with 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution, 1,000:1 contrast ratio, LED backlit screen, 375 cd/m2 brightness, and built-in 49-watt audio output with subwoofer. Also you can find 3x USB 2.0 ports, iSight video camera, microphone, light sensor and mini display port interface.
This Apple 27-inch LED Cinema can connect to any Mac notebook or desktop like MacBook Air, Mac Mini, MacBook, MacBook Pro, and Mac Pro. You can have it with price $999 and available in September 2010.
Cornell’s Ranger Robot Walks 23 km
Remember Big Dog? Well there is a new walking robot king in town. Cornell’s Ranger Robot has just broken the record for distance for a bipedal robot. It took over 65 thousand steps before the battery died!

RGB LED VU Meter using TLC5940 LED Driver Chips
If you like to listen to music here is a way to jazz up the experience. We have all seen the boring analog VU meters on either old or high end audio equipment. Simon Inns from Waiting of Friday has rigged up a cool RGB LED VU Meter circuit that uses 3 TLC5940 LED driver chips that are bring controlled by a PIC18F2550 microcontroller.
“This project creates a RGB LED VU Meter which is controlled via USB by a Windows 7 or Vista host machine. The demonstration board consists of a 5V regulator (switching), a PIC18F2550 with the required USB components, 3xTLC5940 16 channel serial LED drivers with PWM and 16 high intensity RGB LEDs.”
Panasonic HDC-SDT750 3D Shooting Camcorder
Panasonic release a new 3D camcorder called Panasonic HDC-SDT750 which is the 1st 3D shooting camcorder in the world.
Actually it is an older 3MOS model with a “3D coversion lens” attached to the front. Panasonic HDC-SDT750 is hig-end digital camcorder with propagator 3MOS sensor with 3D conversion lens and it should be cheaper to bring 3D home movie in HD format. No price available yet.
Samsung Haven U320 CDMA Phone
Samsung release a new CDMA phone called Samsung Haven U320 which is replace the previous version Samsung Knack U310. It’s targeted for older users come with 2.2-inch internal display with 176×220 pixels resolution, 1.07-inch external screen with 96×96 resolutions, 16 MB of RAM, and 64 MB of ROM.
Samsung Haven mobile phone featuring adjustable fonts for better visibility, monochromatic dark gray color, large number keys, voice commands and dedicated emergency calling buttons. The Haven will include some wellness and health programs, such as a pill reminder, fitness trainer, soothing music, and medical information app.
The size of Samsung Haven is 100 x 51 x 18 mm and weight 99-grams. Verizon is offering the new Samsung Haven for $39.99.
